Over the past century, the Creve Coeur Club has shown that business
and pleasure do mix. The club offers members the perfect opportunity
to meet other successful, interesting people, make business contacts,

ambitious lifestyles, we offer many sport and theatre packages,
and reciprocal memberships at over 300 fine clubs, resorts, and
world class hotels around the country through Club Corporation of
America.
In 1894, twelve prominent Peoria citizens met with the desire to
create a Young Men's club that would promote the business interests
of Peoria and enhance the social enjoyment of its members. The Club's
name derives from an 1860 French settlement in the Peoria area,
Fort Creve Coeur, which means "broken heart." The Club, now open
to men and women, continues the original Club goal, distinguishing
itself in social, civic and business leadership of the Peoria area.
